Celebrate Human Rights Week with The MagkaSama Project!

Every year since 2008, we celebrate Human Rights Week. It all started with the initiative by our founder, Max Dana, who created an artwork for the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: “60 Signers for the 60th Anniversary” Initiative.

Sixty people from the most important organizations in the world (Amnesty International, UNICEF, UNHCR, Human Rights Watch, FIDH…), but also volunteers and individuals supporting organizations, as well as committed people (doctors, lawyers…) signed the original artwork Max created to honor the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Nine years have passed and our commitment is still very strong to defend and advocate for Human Rights. During this special week, we will celebrate Human Rights everyday with articles on events around the world to participate; we will organize online discussions to discuss how we can join forces and promote Human Rights; on December 10 we will invite you to join us to celebrate Human Rights Day together.

Visit our website frequently for updates, follow us on Twitter @MagkaSama to learn more and check your email for our Human Rights Week Newsletter. If you want to share stories and send a message on this occasion, you can use this form.

Celebrate Human Rights Week with us, share it with your family and friends!
